Traditional way of prevention and treatment

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is one of the oldest systems of medicine in the world. It continues to be accepted by more people in the world due to its efficacy, long-term benefits and minimal side effects. This ancient medicinal philosophy was developed through the observation of nature and the cosmos, rooted in the wisdom of Taoism, the concepts of Yin & Yang, and the 5 Elements of wood, fire, earth, metal and water.

The treatment takes a holistic and balanced approach to heal diseases; restore the Qi, blood, and Yin and Yang balances; strengthen the body’s self-healing ability; and increase vitality. At the same time, TCM also addresses the underlying root causes of health issues to prevent illness.

In TCM, Qi (pronounced “chee”) is the invisible life force that flows throughout one’s body. Meridians are the channel or network through which Qi flows in the body. Blockage of these channels and insufficiency of Qi in the body ultimately cause disease. Additionally, Yin and Yang are the underlying principles of Chinese medicine. They are complementary aspects and good health results from the balance of Yin and Yang.
